When Klaus H. Harz founded Inter-Harz GmbH in 1993, with the goal to create a reputable company in the field of trading chemicals and raw materials for animal feed, the company staff amounted to 4 persons.
Today the total staff of Inter-Harz GmbH accounts for over 50 persons and the yearly turnover is more than 100 million Euros.
Based on 5 warehouses, which are under long-term contract, we deliver more than 2.000 different raw materials to a great number of destinations in Europe and a great number of countries in the world. We trade and sell only in our own name and at our own risks.
Inter-Harz supplies exclusively the original quality of the producer in original packagings.

- Our office staff is the key to your success: Our highly experienced Product Managers, as well as our responsive Customer Service execute all your orders, from sourcing up to the delivery.
- Logistics: For your convenience, we assume all activities, such as importing, customs clearance, longterm and short-term warehousing (emergency stocks), updating markings for packings acc., palletising, and, last but not least, container packing (mixed container loads), documentation and transport. We currently ship mixed loads of up to 50 different raw materials in one truck or one container.
- Quality management: This division is an integrated part of our entire customer service. We are in possession of all relevant and required certificates from all essential governmental and non-governmental organizations, and we participate in regular audits to keep them well updated.
- Customer service: Our experienced team is dealing on your behalf with all formalities – swiftly, professionally and reliably.
- Guarantee of complete delivery: We organize the complete supply-chain and delivery of the quality agreed on with our suppliers, promptly and on-time.

Felix Bommer enters as an Associate and Shareholder and leads the “Division of Raw Material for Aninmal Feed”.
New Division: Chemical Import
A new department is being set up to deal mainly with raw materials for cosmetics and detergents for industries in Gemany and neighbouring countries.
The first own office building.
Finally, we can move into our first fully-owned office building of 400 square meters.
New Division: „Service for Industries “
Through this newly created department, we deliver Ingredients and Raw Materials.
We act as a service partner on behalf of several major producers of the cosmetic industry.

The second office building is completed – we move into another 400 square meter.
Retirement of Dieter Landsberger
Dieter Landsberger finishes his activity as Director and Shareholder of Inter-Harz GmbH.
Klaus H. Harz and Felix Bommer take over his shares in the company and are the only Shareholder till today.
Reorganization of our sales activities in Germany
Opening of two sales offices in the Rheine-Ruhr Area. Two additional experienced colleagues strengthen our sales activities in the German market.
New Division: Pharma Ingredients
Import and Export of excipients and pharmaceutical ingredients including API, led by Peer Foelster.
Doubling of office space
The new headquarter is inaugurated. This makes Inter-Harz the proud owner of 3 office buildings.

Nomination of Mr. Lothar Brandt and Mr. Peer Foelster as new Managing Directors, due to the retirement in foreseeable future of the two current Managing Directors. Mr Foelster’s and Mr Brandt’s long-standing experience with the company assures continuity in management and process.
